finding readers

Hello all Can you tell me how you found your readers in college? thanks and How much did you pay them a hour? thanks please let me know see you around. Erica

Well Erica, it depends on what you want to have read. If you're talking something with specialized symbols like music, math, or foreign languages, you might try going to the department chairs and explaining what you need. If you're talking something generic like English or History, you might find someone easily through the campus' office for students with disabilities. Now before I incurr the wrath of many, I know, and strongly agree that these services are variable at bst, and downright useless at least.

You also might check around in the class if you hear someone who participates and is brighter than many to see if they could use some extra cash.

As far as paying goes, you might see if college funds are available either through the aforementioned office, or maybe work-study funds. I used to work in such an office but that was 30 years ago when I was in graduate and undergraduate school.
